As the fifth session of the same type, Ningbo-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Forum (referred to as “Forum” hereunder) is co-sponsored by the Ningbo Municipal Government and Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

II. Forum theme

Theme of the Forum is “optimize growth pattern & co-create mutual prosperity”. Its focus is on improvement of enterprises’ operation concept, uplift of product level, and transformation of economic growth pattern of Ningbo. Through a series of special activities, the Forum exerts to strengthen the cooperation and exchange between Ningbo and Hong Kong in technology, finance, city development and management, modern service industry, enterprise operation and management, education, tourism, and so on, and to further advance the economic and social sustainable development of the two cities.

IV. Content

(i) Opening ceremony and Forum of Ningbo-Hong Kong Young Entrepreneurs

1、Opening ceremony（09:30-10:00, Sept. 20^th）

Officials from relevant departments of HKSAR, leaders from Liaison Office of Central People’s Government in HKSAR, representative celebrities from Hong Kong and leaders of Ningbo are invited to give speeches. Scope: around 200 people.

2、Forum of Ningbo-Hong Kong Young Entrepreneurs（10:00-11:30, Sept. 20^th）

Five to six famous young entrepreneurs from Ningbo and Hong Kong are invited to give speeches on independent innovation of enterprise, realization of second-phase development, business investment, market exploitation, adjustment of industry structure, circular economy, etc., fortifying exchange and cooperation among young entrepreneurs from the two cities. Scope: around 200 people.

(ii)Forum of Ningbo-Hong Kong Scientific and Technological Innovation and Cooperation

Time: 14:00－16:00, Sept. 20^th

Representative from Ningbo Science & Technology Park introduces advantages, developing scheme and auxiliary environment of Ningbo R&D Zone. Three or four celebrities in the field of science and technology and entrepreneurs from Hong Kong are invited to introduce their successful experiences and practices in scientific and technological development and the construction of Hong Kong Science Park, and to give their opinions about independent innovation of Hong Kong enterprises and technological cooperation between the two cities. Scope: around 50 people.

(iii) Roundtable Conference of Financial Service and Capital Cooperation of Hong Kong

Time: 14:00-16:00, Sept. 20^th

Representatives from fifteen financial institutions of Hong Kong (banks, funds, investment institutions) and fifteen large-scale enterprises of Ningbo are invited to discuss, exchange and consult “stock right financing” and other issues that all are interested in. scope: around 50 people.

(iv) Forum of Brand Promotion and Service in Hong Kong Market

Time: 14:00-16:30, Sept. 20^th （16:00-16:30, consultation and discussion）

Four or five marketing institutions of Hong Kong are invited to discuss and comment on marketing and brand promoting of Ningbo local enterprises and on other interesting issues, pushing Ningbo local enterprises and products to go farther toward the world market. 150 local enterprises and foreign export enterprises of Ningbo are invited to take part in the forum.

(v) Forum of Ningbo International Trade Platform

    Time: 14:00—15:30, Sept. 20^th

    Present the developing prospect and general scheme of Ningbo International Trade Platform to exhibition traders in industry of household electric appliance and electronics, purchasers, professionals in exhibition industry, specialized exhibition companies, realtors, hotel investors and operators from Hong Kong or even from the world as well as to relevant persons in China, and discuss the operating mode of the international trade platform. Scope: around 100 people.

(vi) Forum of City Development and Management of Ningbo

Time: 15:30-17:30, Sept. 20^th（16:30-17:30, program negotiation）

Representative from Ningbo municipal government introduces the general scheme, city infrastructure, public causes and city managing programs of Ningbo during the “10^th five-year” period. Three insider representatives from Hong Kong are invited to introduce the operating system and mechanism of city infrastructure and public causes in Hong Kong, and the digitalization and modernization of Hong Kong’s city management. Scope: around 50 people.

(vii) High-End Forum of Ningbo-Hong Kong Banking Cooperation

Time: 09:00-11:30, Sept. 21^st

 Two or three famous banking experts of Hong Kong and experts from Hong Kong Monetary Authority are invited to introduce their practical experiences in risk management, retail operation and management, and innovation of the banking businesses in Hong Kong, the latest trends in those fields, and the implementation of Basel New Capital Accord of Hong Kong banking industry. Scope: around 200 people.

(viii) Forum of Ningbo-Hong Kong Education Cooperation

Time: 09:00—12:00, Sept. 21^st

About twenty leaders and teachers of colleges, vocational education and training institutions, and schools with cooperative programs with us from Hong Kong are invited to visit Ningbo and exchange ideas about the topic of “education and regional economic development” with representatives from Ningbo Bureau of Education and concerned colleges and middle schools. Sign the agreement of Ningbo-Hong Kong educational cooperation, inspect Ningbo Higher-Education Zone, Zhejiang Wanli University, the University of Nottingham-Ningbo, etc., creating ways of cooperation between Ningbo and Hong Kong education circles. Scope: around 200 people.

（ix）Forum of Ningbo-Hong Kong Trade & Business Circulation and Cooperation

Time: 09:30－11:30, Sept. 21^st

Present a set of investment programs to Hong Kong enterprises and insiders, which, with professional scheme for the commercial network in central Ningbo as a platform, centers on the construction and development of the trade & business ring (Yinfeng road, Heyi road, Moon Lake west region, round-city west road) in central city proper. Have investment negotiations about trade & business circulation and service and welcome Hong Kong enterprises and insiders to Ningbo for development. Scope: around 80 people.  

(x) Forum of Ningbo-Hong Kong Cosmetology Development & Cooperation

Time: 9:00－18:00, Sept.21st

First, host the Final of “Ningbo-HK Cup” Ningbo Cosmetology Skill Contest and invite cosmetologists from Hong Kong to be guest judges. Second, host the news conference of Ningbo-Hong Kong cosmetology and Hong Kong fashion hairdo and hairdressing. Cosmetologists of Hong Kong are invited to present and explain skills of cosmetology and hairdressing and introduce international frontier fashions.

(xi) Tourism and cultural activities in Ningbo
